Small Systems Simulation Symposium

The third Small Systems Simulation Symposium was held in the Faculty of Electronic Engineering Niš with participation of all the participants of the project. More about the event can be found at the Symposium site

Within the mobility of the TEMPUS JEP 41107 the following visits are running:

1. Prof. Predrag Petković is visiting the University of Southampton
2. Bojan Jovanovic is visiting the Technical University of Madrid, and
3. Srdjan Djordjevic is visiting the Technical University of Madrid.

In the period between December 09, and December 18, prof. Litovski took part at the Consortium meeting in Madrid.

Preparations for the final report were on the agenda as well as planning the realization of the rest of the activities.

Opening of the laboratory

Laboratory for Silicon on Chip Design (result of TEMPUS JEP 41107 project) was opened. Opening ceremony started at noon, October 1st, in Laboratory LEDA with presence of representatives of Technical University of Madrid and University of Southampton, guests, vice mayor of Niš and journalists.

SoCD Round table on ETRAN Conference

The TEMPUS JEP 41107-2006 project activists took part at the ETRAN conference held in Vrnjacka Banja on June 14 to 18 (full program of the conference can be found here). A very successful round table was organized together with the Project JADES.

The TEMPUS JEP 41107-2006 project activists took part at the TREND symposium held at the Kopaonik mountain in Serbia. The following presentations were given by our project members within the Joint TEMPUS Projects Workshop JADES – DEUKS - SoCD, March 3, 2009

The meeting in Niš May 11 - 16, 2008

During this meeting three subjets of the project were discussed and conclusions accepted:

1.	Redistribution of the finances as given within the "summary of the grant changes".
2.	Investment into the SoC laboratory in Nis. (Presentation by M. Sokolović can be seen here)
3.	The SoC curriculum in Nis. (Presentation by P. Petković can be seen here).

The meeting took place partially in the period September 29th  – October 5th, 2008. in Skopje and Ohrid, Macedonia.
