The hard political/economic situation in Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro resulted in "brain drain" of LEDA reasearchers. Since 1993 many our members emigrated to New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, etc. where they managed to continue their creativity either in some of the greatest companies (IBM, Philips) or universities.
