Miljan Nikolić's MSc thesis "Projektovanje lejauta CMOS integrisanih kola sa mešovitim signalima" (Layout Design of CMOS IC with mixed mode signals) was successfuly deffended on 8th December in 12:00 AM on Faculty of Electronic Engineering Niš. Members of the examining board are: Prof. V. Litovski, Prof. P. Petković, Prof. D. Milovanović, Prof. Miodrag Popović (Belgrade) and Prof. M. Damnjanović. 

Regional Chamber of Economy Nis organizes ICT (Information Communication Technologies) Forum 2006. LEDA members will take part giving lectures:

• Electonic circuits design system - Predrag Petković,
• GRID concept application in science and technics - Marko Dimitrijević
• Parallel simulation of electronic circuits on Beowulf cluster - Bojan Anđelković

Meeting of representatives of the Universities of Ilmenau, Skopje, Sofia, Nis and Banja Luka within ISSNB project (financed by DAAD) took place in Ilmenau from 23 to 28 November 2006.

At the second International Contest HARDWARE & SOFTWARE H&S 2006 held at the Faculty of Electronic engineering in Banja Luka, our team of undergraduated students (Vladimir Balović, Dušan Stojković, Ivan Vasić, Stevan Marinković, lead by LEDA member Marko Dimitrijević) won the second prize.

Meeting of representatives of the Universities of Ilmenau, Skopje, Sofia, Nis and Banja Luka within ISSNB project (financed by DAAD) is over. The meeting was in Ohrid, Macedonia and lasted from 15.09.2006 to 18.09.2006.

Prof. Litovski was at Final meeting of the Tempus JEP 17028-2002 project that took place at the Technical University of Madrid. The meeting was devoted to the preparation of the final report for Tempus JEP 17028-2002. Photos are expecting soon.

On The 13th International Computers Contest for Students HARD & SOFT Suceava 2006 (Romania) Electronic faculty undergraduate students team (see the picture below) lead by LEDA member Marko Dimitrijevic won the 6th position as the best placed foreign team.
