Laboratorija LEDA na Etranu-u!!!

Друштво за ЕТРАН (раније ЕТАН) је најстарије, највеће и најпрестижније професионално удружење у области електротехничког инжењерства и комплементарних области у Србији. Циљ Друштва за ЕТРАН је да окупи на једном месту истраживаче из специјализованих и донекле различитих области електротехнике са циљем промоције струке и развоја комуникација у области. 2014. године Друштво за ЕТРАН је почело серију међународних конференција ИцЕТРАН које су симултане националним конференцијама ЕТРАН-а. Међународна конференција ИцЕТРАН је посвећена истим темама као и ЕТРАН.

Наш проф.др Предраг Петковић је члан председништва друштва ЕТРАН за Електронику.

ELI1.2 THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PEAK WINDOWING TECHNIQUE

The implementation of Peak Windowing method for Peak to Average Power Reduction (PAPR) is presented in the paper.

The architecture is based on a FIR filter. The results of PAPR measurement are presented for Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) waveforms.

 

ELI1.3 DESIGN SPACE EXPLORATION IN ADVANCED CMOS PROCESS: IIR FILTER CASE STUDY

This paper deals with ever increasing complexity of digital integrated circuits design in advanced CMOS process. Concretely, hardware synthesis of IIR filter in 45nm CMOS process is considered. Filter synthesis procedure, starting form specs all the way to the generation of HDL code, is exemplified though the design of simple, third order, all-pole,

selective IIR filter. Two options for standard cells under worst case conditions are examined with the help of custom 39  written tcl scrip for early design space exploration. Obtained results gives valuable information crucial for searching of optimal synthesis solution in target CMOS process.

 

ELI1.4 CLASSIFICATION OF NONLINEAR LOADS USING CURRENT SPECTRUM

Dejan Stevanovic, Innovation Centre, School of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade (ICEF), Serbia One of the most prominent characteristics of nonlinear loads is existence of the higher harmonics in current spectrum. They cause losses and disturbance in power grid; thus, the power factor must be generalized to a total or true power factor where the apparent power, involved in its calculations, includes all harmonic components. Nevertheless, harmonic components of the current spectrum can be regarded as specific “signature” of some nonlinear load, therefore providing the means for identifying classes of nonlinear loads connected to the power grid. In this paper, we will present the method for identifying and classification of nonlinear loads using harmonics’ amplitudes as inputs for the artificial neural network.

 

ELI1.7 IMPROVING THE PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY BY USING THE INFINITYQS - A REAL-TIME SPC SOFTWARE

Statistical process control (SPC) is a method of production process quality control which employs statistical calculations to monitor the manufacturing process, and keep it under control. InfinityQS is a software solution which enables implementation of a real-time SPC. The idea is to collect a real-time data obtained from sensors and statistically process it in order to obtain a real-time image of the process. This software is spatialized in this field allowing for and easy data connectivity, and a real-time reporting/charting. Among numerous features, the most useful are basic SPC control charts.

Nova zapošljavanja i stipendije u kompaniji HDL!

Otvoren konkurs za stipendije kompanije HDL Design House Kompanija HDL Design House otvara konkurs za stipendije namenjene najboljim studentima četvrte godine osnovnih studija i master studija Elektrotehničkog fakulteta u Beogradu, Fakulteta tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu, i Elektronskog fakulteta u Nišu. Trajanje stipendije, za koje se mogu prijaviti studenti sa prosečnom ocenom iznad 8,5 i redovno upisanim godinama studija, je 12 meseci. U okviru programa stipendija, svi stipendisti će imati mogućnost obavljanja stručne prakse u kompaniji HDL Design House, kao i priliku da učestvuju u obukama i kursevima koje kompanija organizuje. Tokom trajanja stipendije, studenti neće imati dodatnih obaveza u kompaniji, i moći će u potpunosti da se posvete ispunjavanju svojih uobičajenih obaveza na fakultetu, a nakon završenih studija u predviđenom roku, imaće mogućnost zaposlenja na poziciji inženjera u kompaniji HDL Design House. Stipendije se isplaćuju počev od januara 2019. zaključno sa decembrom 2019. Posebna nagrada biće obezbedjena svim stipendistima koji završe studije pre isteka ovih 12 meseci, u vidu bonusa za sve preostale mesečne stipendije, pored redovne plate u okviru zaposlenja, kao i dodatnih 5 slobodnih dana, uz predvidjeni odmor koji će imati kao zaposleni u kompaniji. Ukoliko nakon završenih osnovnih studija, stipendista želi da nastavi master studije, stiče pravo na nastavak primanja stipendija, uz odlaganje početka zasnivanja radnog odnosa za narednih godinu dana, koliko traju master studije . Konkurs za stipendije biće otvoren do 15. decembra 2018. Kandidati mogu poslati svoju radnu biografiju, propratno pismo, uverenje o redovno upisanim studijama i uverenje o položenim ispitima na email adresu scholarship@hdl-dh.com. Prvo mesto na 13. medjunarodnoj olimpijadi iz mikroelektronike

Predstavnik Srbije na 13. međunarodnoj olimpijadi iz mikroelektronike (the 13th Annual Microelectronics Olympiad), Miloš Grubor student sa ETF Beograd, osvojio je PRVO MESTO!

U finalnom delu učestvovalo je 38 takmičara iz 18 zemalja. Tradicionalni sponzor takmičenja je kompanija Synopsis. Organizator lokalnog takmičenja u Srbiji sa koga se vrši selekcija srpskog predstavnika u finalnom delu takmičenja je prof. dr Predrag Petković, sa Elektronskog fakulteta u Nišu.

Na samom početku nove akademske godine nastavljamo našu uspešnu saradnju sa kompanijom Veriest.

U utorak, 9. oktobra u 12h u sali 1 kompanija Veriest je održala prezentaciju studentima zainteresovanim za školovanje i posao u ovoj oblasti.

Studentima su takođe predstavljene i mogućnosti stručnog usavršvanja i zapošljavanja u kompaniji Veriest. Kompanija Veriest nudi stručnu praksu i mogućnost zaposlenja svim studentima zainteresovanim sa oblast projektovanja i verifikacije digitalnih elektronskih kola, kao i za oblast Embedded softwera.

Dejan Mirković defended his PhD thesis

Dejan Mirković, member of LEDA since 2007, successfuly defended his PhD thesis researching design, modeling and improvement of digital filters. The defending the thesis was at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš, and members of dissertation commitee were: prof. Miona Andrejević Stošović, prof. Predrag Petković et al. The title of thesis is Projektovanje selektivnih IIR digitalnih filtara sa linearnom fazom upotrebom analognih prototipova.

Borisav Jovanović defended his PhD thesis

Borisav Jovanovć, member of LEDA since 2002, successfuly defended his PhD thesis researching power consumption optimisation in chip design. The defending the thesis was at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš, and members of dissertation commitee were: prof. Predrag Petković, prof. Milun Jevtić, prof. Milunka Damnjanović, prof. Dragiša Milovanović (all from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš) and prof. Miloš Živanov (Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad).

Title of the thesis is Napredni metodi projektovanja digitalnih integrisanih kola u nanometarskim tehnologijama sa posebnim naglaskom na brzinu, statičku i dinamičku potrošnju (The advanced methods for digital integrated circuit design in nanometer technologies, with special emphasis on speed, static and dynamic consumption)
